Scandals In The Church

Jer 32:32-35 ~ Because of all the evil of the children of Israel, and of the children of Juda, which they have done, provoking me to wrath, they and their kings, their princes, and their priests, and their prophets, the men of Juda, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem. Jer 32:33 And they have turned their backs to me, and not their faces: when I taught them early in the morning, and instructed them, and they would not hearken to receive instruction. Jer 32:34 And they have set their idols in the house, in which my name is called upon, to defile it. Jer 32:35 And they have built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Ennom, to consecrate their sons and their daughters to Moloch: which I commanded them not, neither entered it into my heart, that they should do this abomination, and cause Juda to sin.

Mk 14:71 But he began to curse and to swear, saying; I know not this man of whom you speak. Mr 14:72 And immediately the cock crew again. And Peter remembered the word that Jesus had said unto him: Before the cock crow twice, thou shalt thrice deny me. And he began to weep.

Mt 13:24-30 ~ Another parable he proposed to them, saying: The kingdom of heaven is likened to a man that sowed good seeds in his field. Mt 13:25 But while men were asleep, his enemy came and oversowed cockle among the wheat and went his way. Mt 13:26 And when the blade was sprung up, and had brought forth fruit, then appeared also the cockle. Mt 13:27 And the servants of the goodman of the house coming said to him: Sir, didst thou not sow good seed in thy field? whence then hath it cockle? Mt 13:28 And he said to them: An enemy hath done this. And the servants said to him: Wilt thou that we go and gather it up? Mt 13:29 And he said: No, lest perhaps gathering up the cockle, you root up the wheat also together with it. Mt 13:30 Suffer both to grow until the harvest, and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers: Gather up first the cockle, and bind it into bundles to burn, but the wheat gather ye into my barn.

Mt 13:47-48 ~ Again the kingdom of heaven is like to a net cast into the sea, and gathering together of all kind of fishes. Mt 13:48 Which, when it was filled, they drew out, and sitting by the shore, they chose out the good into vessels, but the bad they cast forth.
