Rom 5:16 And not as it was by one sin, so also is the gift. For judgment indeed was by one unto condemnation; but grace is of many offences, unto justification.

2 Macc 12:43 He then took up a collection among all his soldiers, amounting to two thousand silver drachmas, which he sent to Jersualem to provide for an expiatory sacrifice. In doing this he acted in a very excellent and noble way, inasmuch as he ahd the resurrection of the dead in view
2 Macc 12:44 for if he were not expecting the fallen to rise again, it would have been useless and foolish to pray for them in death.
2 Macc 12:45 But if he did this with a view to the splendid reward that awaits those who had gone to rest in godliness, it was a holy and pious thought.

Teachers

Jam 3:1-5
.
Jam 3:1 Be ye not many masters, my brethren, knowing that you receive the greater judgment.
Jam 3:2 For in many things we all offend. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man. He is able also with a bridle to lead about the whole body.
Jam 3:3 For if we put bits into the mouths of horses, that they may obey us, and we turn about their whole body.
Jam 3:4 Behold also ships, whereas they are great, and are driven by strong winds, yet are they turned about with a small helm, whithersoever the force of the governor willeth.
Jam 3:5 Even so the tongue is indeed a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold how small a fire kindleth a great wood.

Salvation:

Mt 25:31-46
.
Mt 25:31 And when the Son of man shall come in his majesty, and all the angels with him, then shall he sit upon the seat of his majesty.
Mt 25:32 And all nations shall be gathered together before him, and he shall separate them one from another, as the shepherd separateth the sheep from the goats:
Mt 25:33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on his left.
Mt 25:34 Then shall the king say to them that shall be on his right hand: Come, ye blessed of my Father, possess you the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
Mt 25:35 For I was hungry, and you gave me to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me to drink; I was a stranger, and you took me in:
Mt 25:36 Naked, and you covered me: sick, and you visited me: I was in prison, and you came to me.
Mt 25:37 Then shall the just answer him, saying: Lord, when did we see thee hungry, and fed thee; thirsty, and gave thee drink?
Mt 25:38 And when did we see thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and covered thee?
Mt 25:39 Or when did we see thee sick or in prison, and came to thee?
Mt 25:40 And the king answering, shall say to them: Amen I say to you, as long as you did it to one of these my least brethren, you did it to me.
Mt 25:41 Then he shall say to them also that shall be on his left hand: Depart from me, you cursed, into everlasting fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels.
Mt 25:42 For I was hungry, and you gave me not to eat: I was thirsty, and you gave me not to drink.
Mt 25:43 I was a stranger, and you took me not in: naked, and you covered me not: sick and in prison, and you did not visit me.
Mt 25:44 Then they also shall answer him, saying: Lord, when did we see thee hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister to thee?
Mt 25:45 Then he shall answer them, saying: Amen I say to you, as long as you did it not to one of these least, neither did you do it to me.
Mt 25:46 And these shall go into everlasting punishment: but the just, into life everlasting.
.
Jam 2:14-26
.
Jam 2:14 What shall it profit, my brethren, if a man say he hath faith, but hath not works? Shall faith be able to save him?
Jas 2:15 And if a brother or sister be naked, and want daily food:
Jas 2:16 And one of you say to them: Go in peace, be ye warmed and filled; yet give them not those things that are necessary for the body, what shall it profit?
Jas 2:17 So faith also, if it have not works, is dead in itself.
Jas 2:18 But some man will say: Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without works; and I will shew thee, by works, my faith.
Jas 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God. Thou dost well: the devils also believe and tremble.
Jas 2:20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
Jas 2:21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, offering up Isaac his son upon the altar?
Jas 2:22 Seest thou, that faith did co-operate with his works; and by works faith was made perfect?
Jas 2:23 And the scripture was fulfilled, saying: Abraham believed God, and it was reputed to him to justice, and he was called the friend of God.
Jas 2:24 Do you see that by works a man is justified; and not by faith only?
Jas 2:25 And in like manner also Rahab the harlot, was not she justified by works, receiving the messengers, and sending them out another way?
Jas 2:26 For even as the body without the spirit is dead; so also faith without works is dead.

.
Jam 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God. Thou dost well: the devils also believe and tremble.

Eph 5:21-33 ~ Being subject one to another, in the fear of Christ. Eph 5:22 Let women be subject to their husbands, as to the Lord: Eph 5:23 Because the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ is the head of the church. He is the saviour of his body. Eph 5:24 Therefore as the church is subject to Christ, so also let the wives be to their husbands in all things. Eph 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, as Christ also loved the church, and delivered himself up for it: Eph 5:26 That he might sanctify it, cleansing it by the laver of water in the word of life: Eph 5:27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle, or any; such thing; but that it should be holy, and without blemish. Eph 5:28 So also ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife, loveth himself. Eph 5:29 For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, as also Christ doth the church: Eph 5:30 Because we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. Eph 5:31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife, and they shall be two in one flesh. Eph 5:32 This is a great sacrament; but I speak in Christ and in the church. Eph 5:33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular love his wife as himself: and let the wife fear her husband.
.
Mt 19:12 ~ For there are eunuchs, who were born so from their mother's womb: and there are eunuchs, who were made so by men: and there are eunuchs, who have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven. He that can take, let him take it.
.
Jer 16:1-4 ~ And the word of the Lord came to me, saying: Jer 16:2 Thou shalt not take thee a wife, neither shalt thou have thee sons and daughters in this place. Jer 16:3 For thus saith the Lord concerning the sons and daughters, that are born in this place, and concerning their mothers that bore them: and concerning their fathers, of whom they were born in this land: Jer 16:4 They shall die by the death of grievous illnesses: they shall not be lamented, and they shall not be buried, they shall be as dung upon the face of the earth: and they shall be consumed with the sword, and with famine: and their carcasses shall be meat for the fowls of the air, and for the beasts of the earth.
.
1 Cor 7:8 ~ But I say to the unmarried, and to the widows: It is good for them if they so continue, even as I.
.
1 Cor 7:32-35 ~ But I would have you to be without solicitude. He that is without a wife, is solicitous for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please God. 1 Cor 7:33 But he that is with a wife, is solicitous for the things of the world, how he may please his wife: and he is divided. 1 Cor 7:34 And the unmarried woman and the virgin thinketh on the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit. But she that is married thinketh on the things of the world, how she may please her husband. 1 Cor 7:35 And this I speak for your profit: not to cast a snare upon you; but for that which is decent, and which may give you power to attend upon the Lord, without impediment.
.
2 Tim 3:3-4 ~ Without affection, without peace, slanderers, incontinent, unmerciful, without kindness, 2ti 3:4 Traitors, stubborn, puffed up, and lovers of pleasures more than of God:
.
1 Tim 5:9-12 ~ Let a widow be chosen of no less than threescore years of age, who hath been the wife of one husband. 1 Tim 5:10 Having testimony for her good works, if she have brought up children, if she have received to harbour, if she have washed the saints' feet, if she have ministered to them that suffer tribulation, if she have diligently followed every good work. 1 Tim 5:11 But the younger widows avoid. For when they have grown wanton in Christ, they will marry: 1 Tim 5:12 Having damnation, because they have made void their first faith.

Works not needed?

Mt 25: 14-30 ~ For even as a man going into a far country, called his servants, and delivered to them his goods; Mt 25:15 And to one he gave five talents, and to another two, and to another one, to every one according to his proper ability: and immediately he took his journey. Mt 25:16 And he that had received the five talents, went his way, and traded with the same, and gained other five. Mt 25:17 And in like manner he that had received the two, gained other two. Mt 25:18 But he that had received the one, going his way digged into the earth, and hid his lord's money. Mt 25:19 But after a long time the lord of those servants came, and reckoned with them. Mt 25:20 And he that had received the five talents coming, brought other five talents, saying: Lord, thou didst deliver to me five talents, behold I have gained other five over and above. Mt 25:21 His lord said to him: Well done, good and faithful servant, because thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will place thee over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. Mt 25:22 And he also that had received the two talents came and said: Lord, thou deliveredst two talents to me: behold I have gained other two. Mt 25:23 His lord said to him: Well done, good and faithful servant: because thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will place thee over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. Mt 25:24 But he that had received the one talent, came and said: Lord, I know that thou art a hard man; thou reapest where thou hast not sown, and gatherest where thou hast not strewed. Mt 25:25 And being afraid I went and hid thy talent in the earth: behold here thou hast that which is thine. Mt 25:26 And his lord answering, said to him: Wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sow not, and gather where I have not strewed: Mt 25:27 Thou oughtest therefore to have committed my money to the bankers, and at my coming I should have received my own with usury. Mt 25:28 Take ye away therefore the talent from him, and give it to him that hath ten talents. Mt 25:29 For to every one that hath shall be given, and he shall abound: but from him that hath not, that also which he seemeth to have shall be taken away. Mt 25:30 And the unprofitable servant cast ye out into the exterior darkness. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
.
Mt 25:31-46 ~ And when the Son of man shall come in his majesty, and all the angels with him, then shall he sit upon the seat of his majesty. Mt 25:32 And all nations shall be gathered together before him, and he shall separate them one from another, as the shepherd separateth the sheep from the goats: Mt 25:33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on his left. Mt 25:34 Then shall the king say to them that shall be on his right hand: Come, ye blessed of my Father, possess you the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. Mt 25:35 For I was hungry, and you gave me to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me to drink; I was a stranger, and you took me in: Mt 25:36 Naked, and you covered me: sick, and you visited me: I was in prison, and you came to me. Mt 25:46
And these shall go into everlasting punishment: but the just, into life everlasting.
.
Jam 2:14-26 ~ What shall it profit, my brethren, if a man say he hath faith, but hath not works? Shall faith be able to save him? Jas 2:15 And if a brother or sister be naked, and want daily food: Jas 2:16 And one of you say to them: Go in peace, be ye warmed and filled; yet give them not those things that are necessary for the body, what shall it profit?
Jas 2:23
And the scripture was fulfilled, saying: Abraham believed God, and it was reputed to him to justice, and he was called the friend of God. Jas 2:24 Do you see that by works a man is justified; and not by faith only? Jas 2:25 And in like manner also Rahab the harlot, was not she justified by works, receiving the messengers, and sending them out another way? Jas 2:26 For even as the body without the spirit is dead; so also faith without works is dead.
.
Jam 2:19 ~ Thou believest that there is one God. Thou dost well: the devils also believe and tremble.
.
Jam 3:1-5 ~ Be ye not many masters, my brethren, knowing that you receive the greater judgment. Jas 3:2 For in many things we all offend. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man. He is able also with a bridle to lead about the whole body. Jas 3:3 For if we put bits into the mouths of horses, that they may obey us, and we turn about their whole body. Jas 3:4 Behold also ships, whereas they are great, and are driven by strong winds, yet are they turned about with a small helm, whithersoever the force of the governor willeth. Jas 3:5 Even so the tongue is indeed a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold how small a fire kindleth a great wood.

Scandals In The Church

Jer 32:32-35 ~ Because of all the evil of the children of Israel, and of the children of Juda, which they have done, provoking me to wrath, they and their kings, their princes, and their priests, and their prophets, the men of Juda, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem. Jer 32:33 And they have turned their backs to me, and not their faces: when I taught them early in the morning, and instructed them, and they would not hearken to receive instruction. Jer 32:34 And they have set their idols in the house, in which my name is called upon, to defile it. Jer 32:35 And they have built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Ennom, to consecrate their sons and their daughters to Moloch: which I commanded them not, neither entered it into my heart, that they should do this abomination, and cause Juda to sin.
.
2 Kg 23:7 ~ He destroyed also the pavilions of the effeminate, which were in the house of the Lord, for which the women wove as it were little dwellings for the grove.
.
Jn 4:22 ~ You adore that which you know not: we adore that which we know; for salvation is of the Jews.
.
Mk 14:43-46 ~ And while he was yet speaking, cometh Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve: and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and the scribes and the ancients. Mk 14:44 And he that betrayed him, had given them a sign, saying: Whomsoever I shall kiss, that is he; lay hold on him, and lead him away carefully. Mk 14:45 And when he was come, immediately going up to him, he saith: Hail, Rabbi; and he kissed him. Mk 14:46 But they laid hands on him, and held him.
.
Mk 14:66-72 ~ Now when Peter was in the court below, there cometh one of the maidservants of the high priest. Mk 14:67 And when she had seen Peter warming himself, looking on him she saith: Thou also wast with Jesus of Nazareth. Mk 14:68 But he denied, saying: I neither know nor understand what thou sayest. And he went forth before the court; and the cock crew. Mk 14:69 And again a maidservant seeing him, began to say to the standers by: This is one of them. Mk 14:70 But he denied again. And after a while they that stood by said again to Peter: Surely thou art one of them; for thou art also a Galilean. Mk 14:71 But he began to curse and to swear, saying; I know not this man of whom you speak. Mr 14:72 And immediately the cock crew again. And Peter remembered the word that Jesus had said unto him: Before the cock crow twice, thou shalt thrice deny me. And he began to weep.
.
Jn 20:24-25 ~ Now Thomas, one of the twelve, who is called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. Joh 20:25 The other disciples therefore said to him: We have seen the Lord. But he said to them: Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the place of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.
.
Mk 14:50 ~ Then his disciples leaving him, all fled away.
.
Rom 3:3-4 ~ For what if some of them have not believed? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? God forbid. Rom 3:4 But God is true; and every man a liar, as it is written, That thou mayest be justified in thy words, and mayest overcome when thou art judged.
.
2 Tim 2:13 ~ If we believe not, he continueth faithful, he can not deny himself.
.
Mt 13:24-30 ~ Another parable he proposed to them, saying: The kingdom of heaven is likened to a man that sowed good seeds in his field. Mt 13:25 But while men were asleep, his enemy came and oversowed cockle among the wheat and went his way. Mt 13:26 And when the blade was sprung up, and had brought forth fruit, then appeared also the cockle. Mt 13:27 And the servants of the goodman of the house coming said to him: Sir, didst thou not sow good seed in thy field? whence then hath it cockle? Mt 13:28 And he said to them: An enemy hath done this. And the servants said to him: Wilt thou that we go and gather it up? Mt 13:29 And he said: No, lest perhaps gathering up the cockle, you root up the wheat also together with it. Mt 13:30 Suffer both to grow until the harvest, and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers: Gather up first the cockle, and bind it into bundles to burn, but the wheat gather ye into my barn.
.
Mt 13:47-48 ~ Again the kingdom of heaven is like to a net cast into the sea, and gathering together of all kind of fishes. Mt 13:48 Which, when it was filled, they drew out, and sitting by the shore, they chose out the good into vessels, but the bad they cast forth.

.

Jn 1:14-15 ~ And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we saw his glory, the glory as it were of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. .

Jn 8:58-59 ~ Jesus said to them: Amen, amen I say to you, before Abraham was made, I am. Jn 8:59 They took up stones therefore to cast at him. But Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple.

.
Jn 10:30-33 ~ I and the Father are one. Jn 10:31 The Jews then took up stones to stone him. Jn 10:32 Jesus answered them: Many good works I have shewed you from my Father; for which of these works do you stone me? Jn 10:33 The Jews answered him: For a good work we stone thee not, but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, maketh thyself God.

  • Ex 3:14 ~ God said to Moses: I AM WHO AM. He said: Thus shalt thou say to the children of Israel: HE WHO IS, hath sent me to you.

Lev 24:15 And thou shalt speak to the children of Israel: the man that curseth his God, shall bear his sin: Le 24:16 And he that blasphemeth the name of the Lord, dying let him die: all the multitude shall stone him, whether he be a native or a stranger. He that blasphemeth the name of the Lord, dying let him die.

Jn 10:38 ~ But if I do, though you will not believe me, believe the works: that you may know and believe that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.
.
Jn 12:45 ~ And he that seeth me, seeth him that sent me.
.
Jn 14:8-12 ~ Philip saith to him: Lord, shew us the Father, and it is enough for us. Jn 14:9 Jesus saith to him: Have I been so long a time with you; and have you not known me? Philip, he that seeth me seeth the Father also. How sayest thou, Shew us the Father? Jn 14:10
Do you not believe, that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak to you, I speak not of myself. But the Father who abideth in me, he doth the works. Jn 14:11
Believe you not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? Jn 14:12 Otherwise believe for the very works' sake. Amen, amen I say to you, he that believeth in me, the works that I do, he also shall do; and greater than these shall he do.

.

.
(If sin after receiving truth, judgment remains)
Heb 10:26-27 For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins, Heb 10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

Judged According to Deeds

Rom 2:7 To them indeed, who according to patience in good work, seek glory and honour and incorruption, eternal life:
Rom 2:8 But to them that are contentious, and who obey not the truth, but give credit to iniquity, wrath and indignation.
.
(recompense accord to what did in body)
2 Cor 5:10 For we must all be manifested before the judgement seat of Christ, that every one may receive the proper things of the body, according as he hath done, whether it be good or evil.
.
(their end will correspond to their deeds)
2 Cor 11:15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers be transformed as the ministers of justice, whose end shall be according to their works.

.
(dead judged according to their deeds)
Rev 20:12-13
Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing in the presence of the throne, and the books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged by those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Mt 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: Mt 25:35 For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Mt 25:36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Mt 25:37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungered, and fed thee? Or thirsty, and gave thee drink? Mt 25:38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? Or naked, and clothed thee? Mt 25:39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? Mt 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Mt 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: Mt 25:42 For I was an hungered, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: Mt 25:43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. Mt 25:44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Mt 25:45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. Mt 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Real Presence of Christ In The Eucharist

(Eucharist promised)
Jn 6:35-71 And Jesus said unto them, “I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. Jn 6:36 But I said unto you, that ye also have seen me, and believe not. Jn 6:37 All that the Father gives me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. Jn 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. Jn 6:39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. Jn 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which sees the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. Jn 6:41 The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven. Jn 6:42 And they said, “Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know?” how is it then that he said, I came down from heaven? Jn 6:43 Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, “Murmur not among yourselves. Jn 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. Jn 6:45 It is written in the prophets, and they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me. Jn 6:46 Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father. Jn 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. Jn 6:48 I am that bread of life. Jn 6:49 Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. Jn 6:50 This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. Jn 6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. Jn 6:52 The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat? Jn 6:53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Jn 6:54 Whoso eats my flesh, and drinks my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. Jn 6:55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. Jn 6:56 He that eats my flesh, and drinks my blood, dwells in me, and I in him. Jn 6:57 As the living Father have sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eats me, even he shall live by me. Jn 6:58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eats of this bread shall live for ever. Jn 6:59 These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum. Jn 6:60 Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, “This is an hard saying; who can hear it?” Jn 6:61 When Jesus knew in His self that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, “Does this offend you?” Jn 6:62 What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before? Jn 6:63 It is the spirit that quickened; the flesh profited nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. Jn 6:64 But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him. Jn 6:65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father. Jn 6:66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. Jn 6:67 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? Jn 6:68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? Thou hast the words of eternal life. Jn 6:69 And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God. Jn 6:70 Jesus answered them, “Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?” Jn 6:71 He spoke of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.
.
(The first Eucharist)
Mt 26:26-28 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. Mt 26:27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; Mt 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
Mk 14:22-24 And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body. Mr 14:23 And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it. Mr 14:24 And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.
Lk 22:17-19 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves: Lk 22:18 For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come. Lk 22:19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. Lk 22:20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
.
(Eucharist equals participation in Christ’s Body and blood)
1 Cor 10:16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?
.
(To receive unworthily is to be guilty of his body and blood)
1 Cor 11:23-29 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: 1Cor11:24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. 1Cor11:25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, “This cup is the new testament in my blood: Do this, as oft as you drink it, in remembrance of me.” 1Cor11:26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord's death till he come. 1Cor11:27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 1Cor11:28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. 1Cor11:29 For he that eats and drinks unworthily, eats and drinks damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.
.
(Paschal Lamb had to be eaten)
Ex 12:8 And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.
Ex 12:46 In one house shall it be eaten; thou shalt not carry forth ought of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall ye break a bone thereof.
.
(Jesus is Called “Lamb of God”)
Jn 1:29 The next day John sees Jesus coming unto him, and said, Behold the Lamb of God, which takes away the sin of the world.
.
(Jesus is called “paschal lamb who has been sacrificed”)
1 Cor 5:7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
.
(Jesus talking symbolically about food)
Jn 4:31-34 In the mean while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat. Jn 4:32 But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of. Jn 4:33 Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat? Jn 4:34 Jesus said unto them, “My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.”
Mt 15:5-12 But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; Mt 15:6 And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition. Mt 15:7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, Mt 15:8 This people drawled nigh unto me with their mouth, and honored me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. Mt 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. Mt 15:10 And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand: Mt 15:11 Not that which goes into the mouth defiled a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defiled a man. Mt 15:12 Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knows thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?
.
(explains what ‘the flesh” means in Jn 6:63)
1Cor 2:14-3:4 But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 1Cor 2:15 But he that is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. 1Cor2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ 1Cor3:1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. 1Cor3:2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. 1Cor3:3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? 1Cor3:4 For while one says, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?
.
(to Symbolically eat & drink one’s body and blood is equal to assault)
Ps 14:4 Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the LORD.
Is 9:18-20 For wickedness burns as the fire: it shall devour the briers and thorns, and shall kindle in the thickets of the forest, and they shall mount up like the lifting up of smoke. Is 9:19 Through the wrath of the LORD of hosts is the land darkened, and the people shall be as the fuel of the fire: no man shall spare his brother. Is 9:20 And he shall snatch on the right hand, and be hungry; and he shall eat on the left hand, and they shall not be satisfied: they shall eat every man the flesh of his own arm:
Is 49:26 And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.
Mic 3:3 Who also eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off them; and they break their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron.
2Sm 23:15-17 And David longed, and said, Oh that one would give me drink of the water of the well of Bethlehem, which is by the gate! 2Sm 23:16 And the three mighty men brake through the host of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of Bethlehem, that was by the gate, and took it, and brought it to David: nevertheless he would not drink thereof, but poured it out unto the LORD. 2Sm 23:17 And he said, Be it far from me, O LORD, that I should do this: is not this the blood of the men that went in jeopardy of their lives? therefore he would not drink it. These things did these three mighty men.
Rv 17:6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
Rv 17:16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.

St. Justin Martyr (150 AD): “… not as common bread nor common drink do we receive thee; but … as we have been taught, the food which has been made into the Eucharist by the Eucharistic prayer set down by him, and by the change of which our blood and flesh in nourished, is both the Flesh and Blood of that Incarnated Jesus.“ First Apology 66,20

St. Irenaeus of Lyons (195 AD):” He [Jesus] has declared the cup, a part of his creation, to be HIS OWN BLOOD, from which he causes our blood to flow; and the bread, a part of creation, He has established as HIS OWN BODY, from which He gives increase to our bodies.” Against Heresies 5,2,2.
.
St Cyril of Jerusalem (350 AD): “He himself, therefore, having declared and said of the Bread, “This is My Body,” who will dare any longer to doubt? And when He Himself has affirmed and said, “This is My Blood,” who can ever hesitate and say it is not His Blood?” Catechetical Lectures: Mystagogic 4,22,1.
.
St Cyril of Jerusalem (350 AD): “Do not, therefore, regard the bread and wine as simply that, for they are, according to the Master’s declaration, the Body and Blood of Christ. Even though the senses suggest to you the other, let faith make you firm. Do not judge in this matter by taste, but be fully assured by faith, not doubting that you have been deemed worthy of the Body and Blood of Christ. “ Catechetical Lectures: Mystagogic 4,22,6.

(Qualification for Bishop)
1 Tim 3:1 This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. 1 Tim 3:2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; 1 Tim 3:3 Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; 1 Tim 3:4 One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; 1 Tim 3:5 (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?) 1 Tim 3:6 Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil. 1 Tim 3:7 Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.

.
(Qualification for Priest)
1 Tim 5:17 Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. 1 Tim 5:18 For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.

Acts1:14 All these were persevering with one mind in prayer with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren. Acts1:15 In those days Peter rising up in the midst of the brethren, said: (now the number of persons together was about an hundred and twenty:) Acts1:16 Men, brethren, the scripture must needs be fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost spoke before by the mouth of David concerning Judas, who was the leader of them that apprehended Jesus: Acts1:17 Who was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry. Acts1:18 And he indeed hath possessed a field of the reward of iniquity, and being hanged, burst asunder in the midst: and all his bowels gushed out. Acts1:19 And it became known to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem: so that the same field was called in their tongue, Haceldama, that is to say, The field of blood. Acts1:20 For it is written in the book of Psalms: Let their habitation become desolate, and let there be none to dwell therein. And his bishopric let another take. Acts1:21 Wherefore of these men who have companied with us all the time that the Lord Jesus came in and went out among us, Acts1:22 Beginning from the baptism of John, until the day wherein he was taken up from us, one of these must be made a witness with us of his resurrection. .

.
(performed first miracle after Pentecost)
Acts 3:6-7 But Peter said: Silver and gold I have none; but what I have, I give thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, arise, and walk. Acts3:7 And taking him by the right hand, he lifted him up, and forthwith his feet and soles received strength.
.
(Inflicted first punishment on Ananias & Saphira)
Acts 5:1-11 But a certain man named Ananias, with Saphira his wife, sold a piece of land, Acts5:2 And by fraud kept back part of the price of the land, his wife being privy thereunto: and bringing a certain part of it, laid it at the feet of the apostles. Acts5:3 But Peter said: Ananias, why hath Satan tempted thy heart, that thou shouldst lie to the Holy Ghost, and by fraud keep part of the price of the land? Acts5:4 Whilst it remained, did it not remain to thee? and after it was sold, was it not in thy power? Why hast thou conceived this thing in thy heart? Thou hast not lied to men, but to God. Acts5:5 And Ananias hearing these words, fell down, and gave up the ghost. And there came great fear upon all that heard it. Acts5:6 And the young men rising up, removed him, and carrying him out, buried him. Acts5:7 And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what had happened, came in. Acts5:8 And Peter said to her: Tell me, woman, whether you sold the land for so much? And she said: Yea, for so much. Acts5:9 And Peter said unto her: Why have you agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? Behold the feet of them who have buried thy husband are at the door, and they shall carry thee out. Acts5:10 Immediately she fell down before his feet, and gave up the ghost. And the young men coming in, found her dead: and carried her out, and buried her by her husband. Acts5:11 And there came great fear upon the whole church, and upon all that heard these things.

.
(Pronounces first dogmatic decision)

Gal 1:18 Then, after three years, I went to Jerusalem, to see Peter, and I tarried with him fifteen days.
.
(This passage is used to challenge church doctrine but notice that Paul is correcting Peter because Peter’s action could have repercussion in the whole church)
Gal 2:11-14 But when Cephas was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed. Gal 2:12 For before that some came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them who were of the circumcision. Gal 2:13 And to his dissimulation the rest of the Jews consented, so that Barnabas also was led by them into that dissimulation. Gal 2:14 But when I saw that they walked not uprightly unto the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas before them all: If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of the Gentiles, and not as the Jews do, how dost thou compel the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?

Perpetual Church

Is 9:6 For a CHILD IS BORN to us, and a son is given to us, and the government is upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called, Wonderful, Counselor, God the Mighty, the Father of the world to come, the Prince of Peace.
Is 9:7 His empire shall be multiplied, and there shall be no end of peace: he shall sit upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom; to establish it and strengthen it with judgment and with justice, from henceforth and for ever: the zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
.
Dan 2:44 But in the days of those kingdoms the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, and his kingdom shall not be delivered up to another people, and it shall break in pieces, and shall consume all these kingdoms, and itself shall stand for ever.
.
Dan 7:14 And he gave him power, and glory, and a kingdom: and all peoples, tribes and tongues shall serve him: his power is an everlasting power that shall not be taken away: and his kingdom that shall not be destroyed.
.

.
Mt 7:24 Every one therefore that hears these my words, and doth them, shall be likened to a wise man that built his house upon a rock,
.
Mt 13:24 Another parable he proposed to them, saying: The kingdom of heaven is likened to a man that sowed good seeds in his field.
Mt 13:25 But while men were asleep, his enemy came and over sowed cockle among the wheat and went his way.
Mt 13:26 And when the blade was sprung up, and had brought forth fruit, then appeared also the cockle.
Mt 13:27 And the servants of the good man of the house coming said to him: Sir, didst thou not sow good seed in thy field? whence then hath it cockle?
Mt 13:28 And he said to them: An enemy hath done this. And the servants said to him: Wilt thou that we go and gather it up?
Mt 13:29 And he said: No, lest perhaps gathering up the cockle, you root up the wheat also together with it.
Mt 13:30 Suffer both to grow until the harvest, and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers: Gather up first the cockle, and bind it into bundles to burn, but the wheat gather ye into my barn.
.
Mt 16:18 And I say to thee: That thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
.
